Rescheduled Events
The COVID-19 closure has forced us to postpone or cancel our end-of-year events. While we will not be able to make up everything, we have established make-up dates for some of them to aid in planning. We’ve set up multiple dates for each and plan to use the earliest date possible based on present guidance and directives and anything further we may receive in the future. If an earlier date will not work, we’ll move on to the next date. Announcements will be made as needed to keep everyone informed.
Commencement/Graduation - Original date - May 9. Our make-up dates are June 13, July 11, and August 1, all at 8:00 p.m. This event is currently scheduled to be in the H.S. gymnasium.
6th Grade Graduation - Original date - May 12. Our make-up dates are June 13, July 11, and August 1, all at 11:00 a.m. This event is currently scheduled to be in the H.S. gymnasium.
Junior/Senior Prom - Original date - April 18. Our make-up dates are June 20 and July 18. The details of this rescheduled event are still being planned and will be shared when finalized.
Senior Trip - There are too many uncertainties regarding whether or not trip destinations will even be open or available this summer. As a result, this trip has been cancelled. We will distribute the refunded money to eligible students when we receive it.
Summer School - Original dates - May 19-June 12. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education should be issuing guidance about summer school soon. Until then, we’re not sure whether or not summer school will be permissible or possible. If we are allowed to have summer school, we will make an announcement regarding dates.
Screenings - All screenings are on hold for now. If it’s necessary to conduct a screening, make-up dates will be announced.
